Hello, I am Alison. I reside here in New Bern, NC. I wear many hats with the services I offer but one thing is clear, I have a never ending love for our seniors. With over 24 years in the senior care world I have been able to help thousands of families near and far with everything from finding the right housekeeper to helping with end of life needs to everything in between. I am a firm believer that growing old is not for the weak. It can be very hard emotionally, physically, mentally, it can be lonely, and many times financially hard. It’s not only hard on the individual who is aging, but it’s hard on the spouse and family as well. We never really plan for the transitional period in our lives when we lose a little more of our independence or when we lose our spouse. Some of us never plan and just roll with the flow while others plan everything… but, if you don’t know….. you don’t know what to plan or how to plan. This goes for seniors, their spouse, and the adult children. It’s overwhelming, emotional, and scary at times. These conversations are not easy, but they need to be had. The more you can plan and plan for yourself, the easier the transition will be when the time comes. Don’t wait for the decision to be made for you. Your needs and quality of life are always top priority, and that is why I am here. During my 24 plus years working with seniors and their families, I found my place in this world. I love helping our seniors with these hard conversations. I love building lifelong relationships with you, listening to your stories from 45 years ago, hearing about how you met your wife and your wedding day and how the marriage was the best 60 years of your life, it brings me so much joy! I am honored that you share your life story with me.
